Dr. Sketchy's Amsterdam
Dr. Sketchy's Amsterdam is a branch of the worldwide, NY-based Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School founded by artist Molly Crabapple.

Dr Sketchy's brings together a wild flock of artists - models, performers, painters, cartoonists - to draw in an informal atmosphere.

The Amsterdam Branch started in September 2011 and has a session every two months.

The fourth session on April 7th was a very relaxed one. Not sold out this time, which gave everyone ample space to get their gear in place. We welcomed a new photographer, Donny van der Linde, who made a whole bunch of wonderful pictures for and from us! Thanks, Donny! You can see all his pictures if you join our Facebook-community.

Also we had a few new models, including the lovely Ginny Moon, who gave the Chocolate-theme an extra luscious aftertaste!

Van der Linde Art Supplies graciously provides us with beautiful art kits which can be won during the Dr. Sketchy's Challenges every session. On January 28th, it was Louis who made the most outrageous drawing in the Draw-an-Outrageous-Hairdo-on-the-Model Contest - he won a kit full of professional aquarel paint worth 100 euros!
